On board, the chief engineer logs the meters on mobile; the network disappeared ten miles out, which makes no difference to the app. On the sixth day an alert flags a consumption drift on the starboard engine. The observation joins the synchronisation queue and, at the next satellite window, the office receives it, then positions an oil analysis and a technician for the crew change call.
Fourteenth day, a thirty-six hour call: the job is carried out, the parts had been reserved, and the 500-hour service is closed within the same window.
